Tattoos Drawings of Crosses – All About the Cross Tattoo
Nobody knows exactly when and where tattoos drawings of crosses originated from. Thought to have German origins and very popular with people of the Gothic movements. It features design elements of knives or dagger, wrapped with barbed wire and red blood, all put together to produce a very disturbing and daring imagery.
The Tau Cross
Also known as the Egyptians cross. It is a basic cross with lines crossing each in a T-like shape. St Francis is said to have used the Tau cross as his signature.
The Ankh Cross
It is closely related to the Tau cross with the addition of a loop on the top of the T-shape. Another name for it is the Key of the Nile.
The Maltese Cross
Its design is made up of eight equal length arms moving towards and joining at the middle, making it an eight-pointed cross.

The big mistake dude is keeping the white and black colors which are Arab colors representing the Umeayyad and Abbasid dynasties. Keeping the Eagle of Saladin is another mistake…. Takes too long to learn of just individuals. School only has so long so they teach the broad strokes. As to teaching past history, those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.
I think there there should be more interactive things in museums. It's a great way to get to know the subject. An example is a bug museum I went to having a little area where we could see through the eyes of a fly.
I don't think photography should be allowed around more delicate artifacts and artwork. It could damage the pigments that give the item color or maybe even cause a slow breakdown of the structure of the items.
The use of films is a great way to enhance an experience but I don't think anything can replace actually being close to the items in museums.

I just google image searched cross and heart designs and found quite a few cool ones, but I don't know what exactly you want, so you might want to try searching yourself. Another option is to take your idea in to a tattoo artist and have them try and draw it out for you.
