Is a Cross tattoo on your hip inappropriate?

Ok so I know hip tattoos are supposed to be a more sensual location that an arm tattoo for instance. I'm Catholic and very religious and I was thinking about getting a small cross and some words in latin on my hip. I just want people's opinion on whether the hip is a too inappropriate or disrespectful a location for a cross?

i think its fine to get a tattoo on the hip, but not so big that when people might see it they will think it is a tramp stamp. i hate it and i think it looks horrible when girls get their tattoo above their butt that has thoughs angel wings, thoughs are called tramp staps. i think it would just be pretty if you get a small black or purple cross. no words or anything. just your little secret cross on your hip. that would be so pretty!! lol. well i hope you take my advice. lol. l8r

As far as on the hip, my wife actually has a tattoo of a cross on her hip.
I have a cross on my chest just over my heart. I’m a Christian and admittedly i did put alot of thought into it first. I think as long as you are getting it for good reason then you would never regret it.
I got mine because i had some bad experiences with my church but then i met my husband who brought me to a different church, helped me find faith again….then cheated and lied and hurt me, so i wanted a reminder that my faith was my own and not a bad thing…hence why i put it over my heart.
The only thing i would say is be very careful of the style of the cross you get. Women’s cross tattoo designs tend to be very fine lines which on places that stretch isn’t a great idea
Have you thought abut trying to design your own cross? Just start with a shape you like and work around it to create something that is really truly personal to you and your faith.

Totally agree with what you sayin. People make tattooing out to be this huge big deal like it’s this insane difficult skill, but I only got my gun like 3 months ago and got the hang out it with the acception of da lines bein tad bit crooked but yeah that’s to be expected ahaha.

you cant have your tattoo submerged in water for a few weeks, so if its just going to get a little splash i guess that could be OK- but I'd definitely avoid it, the tattoo is going t be on you for life, try and look after it.
and alcohol wipes! noooooo. u shouldn't be using them. you should be gently washing your tattoo in the shower and then applying whatever cream it is the tattooist recommended. i personally think bepanthen is the best for tattoos.
