Question About Tattoos In The Marines?

I have three tattoos. A Celtic Online Generic pharmacy cross on my back, a butterfly on my ankle, and a scorpion on my foot. I'm planning on joining the Marines soon. Will my tattoos be a problem?

Only offensive and gang related tattoos are disqualifying. You should be ok. You will get a lot of **** from your fellow Marines about that butterfly though lol.
You can, but it will require waivers and will limit your job qualifications.
Each tattoo requires a waiver, so youd have 3 waivers right there, assuming no other problems in enlistment. Some jobs classify you ans not qualified if you have to many waivers. Thats my freinds problem. He has 4 tattoo’s and goes over the 3 waiver mark that alot of mos’s have.
No tattoo’s visible, including hand, neck, head, and i think their taking out the forearms and lower biceps now (basically if it can be seen in pt gear)
I know the Army doesn’t want them on your wrist, hands, or neck (basically anywhere that can be seen when in uniform)… you can bet the Marines are the same if not more strict.

Yes they will fade unfortunately but they have a balm stick for your tats at the tanning salon. Well at mine they did. I don't know how good it is tho. Hope I helped!
you are going back to the days of Laker Airways and People Express….and they are both out of business. Decide on your travel date and look for sales (subscribe to airfarewatchdog.com! they are great for cheapies)…and when you see a deal that is cheap enough, book it.
or: if you really want to fly standby….make friends with an airline employee, get him/her to give you some buddy passes. if your travel plans are truly flexible (doesn't matter if it takes you an extra day…or two…or three…or?) to get where you want to go AND the same thing when you want to come home, should save you some $!
