I have a large tattoo on my foot and had the same issue. Make sure you can get the tattoo on a day where you will have a couple of days afterwards to let it heal before going back into your shoe. Then, make sure to keep it moist while it is in your shoe (i.e. ointment/lotion on it). As soon as you can, take off your shoe and let the tattoo breathe. This is super important, and don't drown it in ointment while it is out of your shoe. This will still allow scabbing and peeling to occur so your ink will look great. That is what I did, and I had no problems at all with my tattoo, and I was working construction at the time so it was super labor intensive.

No, Maxine, you are not, though I should say I am more fed up than bored, and I’m rather peeved about it given that only this very day am I going to collect Hornet’s Nest from the library (131 holds backed up behind me), and I’m not looking forward to reading it as much as I might. Not that Larsson, and the situation is hardly his fault, is the only crime fiction author to induce ennui through ubiquity — I have one other always close to mind, but if I mention the name here I might get blogged over the noggin, so best I keep mum — but in Larsson’s case it has turned into a minor industry furnishing literary temp work for journalists and columnists mostly uninformed and not much interested, but stymied for something to write about.

Question: Who are the pipers at around 1:13-16 that have red hackles but don’t appear to be wearing Blackwatch uniforms (or at least the ones that I’ve seen) ? I thought only the Blackwatch was authorized to wear red hackles, and it was “presumptuous” for anyone else to do so?

My dad got this when he was in Vietnam last year in 2008. I’m not sure what the liquid is but it could either be rum, whiskey, vodka, or some other type of alcohol. I’m also not sure if people actually drink this or not, though I heard that it tasted like ****. The Vietnamese believe that it is like a liquid Viagra. Not quite sure but I would put it in the category of a taxidermy.
