I have a simple small cross tattoo on my inner wrist and it looks drawn on. What can or should I do?

the tattoo looks like i drew it with a sharpie cause the bottom of the cross is slightly curved. i want it to be simple and bold. perfection. not crap. when i went to get it the artists weren't taking it seriously because it was so simple so I'm kind of iffy about going to get it touched up maybe i should add more. right now im able to cover it up when needed relatively well because it's about the size of a thumbprint
