Only you can make the decision and it will hurt no matter where you get it. I have three: breast, lower back, and side. They all three hurt but obviously not bad enough to prevent me from getting two more.

You don't have to be religious to have a tattoo of a bible verse. People get different languages on them all the time that they don't speak, it's pretty much the same thing. Just make sure everything is spelled correctly in the tattoo because that could be very embarrassing otherwise.

A cross would be ok, a bit plain…
