I have been considering adding more ink to one of my arms that is bare except for a black and grey cross on the upper arm/shoulder area. I am looking for ideas/suggestions about what would look buying drugs good with it? I am just stumped right now.

It depends whats your style. If you want you could put rosemary beads around it or add more colors. Or put a poem related to the cross or something inspirational.
You could try to add shading, it’ll make that area look like there is more work done & it won’t just be a lonely cross. Tattoo artist do this thing called tribal winds (i think thats what its called) its basically another form of shading but it has more design to it. Shading def goes a long way.
Vines with or without flowers, a sunset (or sunrise) behind the cross. you could make the cross more elaborate, like add engravings to it or make it into a Celtic cross.
